Description

Dome is a visceral blend of sacred music pieces and hymns that echo under the domes of churches, mosques, synagogues, and Mevlevi tekke, all of which emphasize their shared musical origins.
Using historical, multi-religious Constantinople as a point of reference, the sacred music excerpts are reinterpreted through improvisation, highlighting their common spiritual foundation and bringing them together in harmonious coexistence beneath a shared dome.

The funding body of the project is the Ministry of Culture, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0" with funding from the European Union - NextGeneration EU.
