A while before their arrival to Athens for the All Star Verdi Gala that was held on 10 July 2021 at the Kallimarmaro Stadium, the leading soprano of the 21st century Anna Netrebko and distinguished tenor Yusif Eyvazov talk to GNO TV about their relationship with Verdi’s operas, their career choices, the impact of the pandemic on the opera world, Maria Callas, and the new reality that has been taking hold through social media.

In the interview, which will be available on GNO TV until 31/12/2021, the two leading opera artists share details about the Gala at Kallimarmaro and talk about their co-stars, the celebrated mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili and acclaimed Greek baritone Dimitri Platanias.
